Members of the National Pan-Hellenic Conference recruit members through
a process known as "intake." The intake process for every chapter is defined
by its international/national organization.
Membership intake consists of attending a meeting, completing an application
directly to the sorority of interest, gaining approval from the organization,
learning the group's history, traditions and participating in an initiation.
New members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. are accepted on both the
undergraduate and graduate levels. Membership is by invitation only.
Potential graduate members must hold a degree from a four-year accredited educational institution.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., does not tolerate hazing of any form. Hazing is wrong, prohibited and unauthorized. Please read Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated's Hazing Policy for more information.
